Marathon Petroleum Corporation Takes Track Software and Forecaster Live at Galveston Bay Refinery
Posted on Sep 03, 2015
HOUSTON, Texas (September 3, 2015) – On August 31, 2015, Management Controls' Track Software and Forecaster applications went live at Marathon Petroleum Corporation's Galveston Bay Refinery. This is the first site to go live as a part of Marathon’s enterprise-wide partnership with Management Controls, Inc.
Marathon has chosen to employ all three Track modules - labor, equipment and materials - for greater transparency within their contractor spend. Forecaster has been implemented ahead of Marathon’s upcoming turnaround, scheduled for January 2016, and will give Marathon real-time, daily forecasting and reporting throughout the project. This implementation also includes multiple interfaces between Track, Forecaster, SAP and Marathon's access control system, Lenel.
"Implementing Track Software and Forecaster at MPC Galveston Bay was a great experience for the MCi team,” said Delanie Sloan Boase, Project Manager for Management Controls. "The Marathon Core Implementation Team did a great job and we’re excited to continue working with them as we bring Track and Forecaster to Marathon nation-wide.”
Marathon’s Texas City Refinery is currently the next site scheduled for a Track Software and Forecaster implementation.
