Management Controls Selects Exago To Meet BI Requirements For Major Energy Corporation Clients

HOUSTON, TX [October 22, 2014] - Management Controls, Inc., the developer of Track, Forecaster, Estimator, and SAP / Oracle Primavera interfaces, has partnered with Exago, Inc. to deliver a fully-integrated BI solution to clients in the oil and gas sector.

"We worked very closely with our clients to develop a list of requirements for reporting and BI within our Forecaster application,” said Roman Trevino, Project Manager at Management Controls. “Our client roster includes some of the largest oil companies in the world and it’s absolutely critical for them to have ready access to data on turnarounds, shutdowns, outages and routine maintenance. They need the flexibility to create actionable views of that data with self-service ad hoc reports and dashboards. When we demonstrated the Exago solution to our clients, the response validated that we had a winner. One client stated, “This is the wow-factor we’ve been looking for.”

Management Controls originally planned to include Exago BI in their Forecaster solution, but have now decided it will also be added to their flagship offering, Track, in 2015.

“The great thing about our evaluation program is that, by the end of it, we develop an open dialog and a solid working relationship with our prospects,” said Exago CEO, Mike Brody. “We knew early on that Management Controls would make terrific clients because of the way they invited us into their process and the goal-oriented focus they maintain of the needs of their clients.”
