BOB HARRELL | FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
With more than 30 years of experience in the process industry - primarily in operational auditing, profit planning and performance analysis - Bob is a leading authority on the challenges of contract work management. Prior to founding Management Controls he served as CFO/COO of a large contract services company, was a Director of Internal Audit for ARCO, and, fulfilled the same role at Hydril. Bob received his MBA from the UCLA Executive MBA Program and his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Bob proudly served our country as a U.S. Army Special Forces officer, commanding an A-Team during the Vietnam War.
KEN NAUGHTON | CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Ken has responsibility for the design and delivery of consulting services to our customers. Ken is a key member of the Company's management team. He is deeply involved in building world class service delivery capabilities to MCi clients around the globe. Previously, Ken was a client executive in Accenture's Energy and Chemicals practice. During his 15 years at Accenture, Ken worked with the Energy and Chemical super majors to successfully manage programs and projects ranging from strategy development to implementation to sustainment activities. Ken has experience in executive level relationship management, project execution, business development, project management and staff development. Ken has an extensive network in the Energy and Chemicals industries.
MIKE WANGSMO | CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Mike is responsible for the management of production, product excellence, customer relations and technology infrastructure. Mike brings nearly 20 years of diverse industry experience from executive leadership roles in technology, professional services and consulting. His experience spans a spectrum of startup companies through large, mature organizations. Prior to joining MCi, Mike was Vice President of Technology at iland Internet Solutions, a cloud infrastructure provider with international datacenters. An early employee of Red Hat (RHT), Mike served as the Director of Quality Assurance, and the primary architect of their clustered computing product offerings. Mike has worked in technology consulting management and has engineering roots within the architectural/engineering industry. Mike holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.S. in Management Engineering from Montana State University.
GEORGE COYER | VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
George joined Management Controls from Union Carbide, where he was the MIS Director for that company's Solvents and Coatings Division. A 27-year veteran of chemical industry IT, George is experienced in project management, software implementation, work process redesign and SAP integration. George's background includes systems development, operations, customer service and database administration. He is a 1998 winner of Union Carbide's "Chairman's Award," based on work related to the Supply Chain implementation of SAP/R3.
ASIM SALIM | VICE PRESIDENT, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Asim provides leadership to Management Controls development and software quality assurance efforts. Early in his tenure (2001) Asim provided technical leadership in the complete rewrite of Track's earlier Microsoft Windows client-server products to the Microsoft.Net Framework. Prior to joining the company, Asim worked as a software engineer for Convergys, a customer relationship and HR solutions provider. At Management Controls, Inc., Asim works with customers to assimilate new Track functionality as he and his team integrate client requests into upcoming versions of Track. Asim, a native of Pakistan, is a graduate of the University of Houston.
JASON DUANE | VICE PRESIDENT, SALES
Jason is responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships with Management Controls' global customer base. He is accountable for designing, building and managing the sales program for the Company. He works closely with C-level and other senior executives to market and sell Management Controls' software and services. Jason has more than 10 years of sales management experience in the SaaS and manufacturing arenas. Previously, Jason was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for LoneStar Plastics, Inc. and Niaflex Corporation, both subsidiaries of Inteplast, Inc. Jason is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served for 8 years in the United States Army.
LAURA KARBARZ | VICE PRESIDENT, SERVICES
Laura has over 28 years of experience in the technology industry as a sales and consulting services executive. She started her career at Accenture and has been employed by, Avanade, Microsoft and Wipro. She has been responsible for selling and delivering large services engagements and software product deals. Laura has become a leader in articulating the value and return on investment of information technology purchases and implementation. Laura is originally from Chicago, she and her husband Frank live in Houston, and have two children. Laura graduated from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois with a B.S. degree in Computer Science. She is an avid tennis player and enjoys the outdoors often on a tandem bicycle with her husband and children.
SARAH DURHAM SUMMERS | DIRECTOR, TRAINING
Sarah is responsible for directing and overseeing Management Controls' training services, including the development and delivery of training programs. Sarah joined Management Controls, Inc. from Aon Consulting 16 years ago where she managed several major accounts and was named "Employee of the Year" in 1996 for the Houston Regional Office. After joining Management Controls, as Director of Client Services in 1997, Sarah has been responsible for over 80 Track Software implementations including Bayer Chemical, BP, Chevron, Citgo, ConocoPhillips, DuPont, Eastman Chemical, Equistar, ExxonMobil, Flint Hills Resources, Florida Power and Light, Husky Energy, Invista, Lyondell Citgo, Power New Mexico, Premcor, Sunoco, Valero, Shell, and Tesoro in locations all over North America, Canada, the Caribbean, South Africa, Europe, and Australia.
CHRIS FRIZZELL | DIRECTOR, EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
Chris has responsibility for the development of key relationships with Management Controls' Global Customers and the development of the Track Continual Improvement Program. Chris brings 20 years of IT Professional experience that include Operations, Professional Services, and Sales & Marketing. Prior to joining Management Controls, Chris worked for SAP Americas, Inc., where he was a Client Partner in the Professional Services organization for the Utility Industry. Mr. Frizzell is married with three children and resides in Tomball, Texas. He holds a BBA from Baylor University, Texas.
TIM DURHAM | CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Tim oversees the Customer Support team at Management Controls. In this role, he coordinates all client related functional and technical troubleshooting issues. This includes issues related to enterprise configuration, installation, application interfaces and product functionality. Prior to joining Management Controls in 2010, he worked for 15 years in the non-profit sector in various roles that involved customer relationships. Tim has a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Houston and is married with four children.
AMY KNIGHT | CONTROLLER
Knight holds responsibility for MCi’s accounting department. Knight, a licensed CPA, brings Big 4 experience and over 15 years of accounting and financial reporting expertise. Prior to joining Management Controls, she held positions at Goodman, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hein & Associates, and Southwest Water Company.
